Nail Polish-- Purple!

Hello!!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!!

With my Lasix being done recently and thus NOT being able to wear make-up, I've resorted to playing with my nails. =)

This weekend I put on OPI's Louvre Me Louvre Me Not.

Here are some swatches:

OMG I LOVE this purple!! Mmmm =) I'm not a fan of purples that lean toward Royal, so I love this one and how is has more fuchsia in it.

C'est parfait!! ;)

Please recommend some polishes for me =) What are your faves? Any other good purples? Let me know, please! All I can do it paint my nails, haha!! =P

Until Next Time~

  1. I am wearing purple polish right now as well. I tend to lean toward the purples infused with a little bit of red. I have been wanting to try neon purple - the bright nail polish is huge here in Charleston. I am jumping on the bandwagon and trying out a bright purple - once I can get motivated to remove the darker purple I am wearing.

  2. Oh yea - my favorite color when its fall but still warm enough to wear open toe shoes is a burnt orange color. I love love love using it during fall, but don't see it as a spring and summer color.

  3. Hey yaaay purple!! Do you remember what the name is?? And that's fascinating about the neon in SC! Is it mostly on toes or fingers or both?

I am definitely seasonal with my colors.. at first this purple seemed a little too dark for summer but it grew on me. =) I normally stick with pinks/oranges but lately I've been bitten by the blue-bug, haha! Burnt orange sounds beautiful though-- I'd love to hear what color that is if you get a chance!!

    Thanks for the comments =)

  4. I'm wearing purple nail polish too!! But it is the more bright royal purple kind than you'd probably like (China Glaze's Coconut Kiss)! I used to only paint my nails pinks and reds but I'm really enjoying purple's and oranges. If you ever feel like going crazy neon dayglo-ish orange (neon really is in here in South Carolina!) try Essie's Bright Tights!

  6. Yup, I'm in South Carolina, have been since about February of 2007, although I'm originally from MA! Don't be jealous, I hate it here! I love cold weather! But being able to wear neon colors for more months is a plus, definitely :)
