Hello!!
So I linked you to MakeUpGeek's tutorial, but here it is again for you. =)
Here is a basic list of her instructions:
1. Smudge a dark brown creamy liner on upper and lower lashline~ you'll go over this later, so it doesn't need to be perfect.
2. Blend a medium brown (I used Urban Decay's "Smog") into the lashline and outer corner to crease, the "outer-V."
3. Blend a champagne color (I used Stila's "Kitten") on the lid, inner corner, and brownbone, overlapping a little bit of the brown.
4. Take a matte medium brown and smudge over the liner on the bottom lashes (I used a matte bronzer haha!).
5. Use a warmer/darker brown on the upper lash, and wing it out a bit (I just used Smog again since the other was blended so much).
6. Mascara~ fake lashes, if you so choose!
7. Foundation and concealer to perfect skin.
8. Use bronzer to contour under cheekbones and use a peachy shimmery blush on the apples of the cheeks (I used my MAC To the Beach! blush).
9. Apply a peachy nude lip (I used a discontinued VS lipgloss).
Pics of my attempt!
(Why, yes, I AM wearing my VS Backstage robe! ;)
Starting point:
Up close:
It's a really gorgeous everyday/neutral look~
What do you think? Angel worthy?? Haha!! =P Think you'll try it? Send me pics if you do!!!!!
Until next time--

Chanel Paradoxal Dupe!
Hi there!
Yesterday I went to Ulta and FINALLY found Revlon's new shade, Perplex! --$4.49
(You can see how long I've been looking if you follow my Twitter~ BeautyMaven8)
The hype about Perplex is that it is an AMAZING dupe of Chanel's much-coveted Paradoxal. However, Revlon is a better deal because you get 0.5 fl. oz for $4.49 while Chanel is 0.4 fl. oz. for $23. It IS gorgeous, but... Yikes!
Here is a picture of Chanel's Paradoxal~ I'm not fancy enough to own it. ;)
Here are pictures of Revlon's try!
1 coat:
2 coats, 2 different lights:
I actually believe it is an almost spot-on dupe!! Good job, Revlon! Maybe this will happen more in the future... hmmm... =)
The Polish-Aholic has some great pictures as well, since she owns both colors~ here is her post! Please check it out, her pics are great! She has the nails alternating with Perplex/Paradoxal.... and I thought the ones with Perplex were prettier, haha!!
What do you think? I give it an A+ for a great grayish-purple for Fall/Winter!!
Also, random-- but I found a clutch that matches my fancy shoes and Sparkle-Licious polish!!!!
Until next time--

Lips!
Hello there!
Today I would like to share with you 2 lips products which I am loving at the moment:
Wet n Wild Natural Wear Lip Shimmer in Maple, $1.99 at Walgreen's ($0.99 right now!)
Specs:
It has quite a lot of color, as you can see in comparison to my uber pale lips!, and it feels just like chapstick, maybe slightly more hydrating. If you're more of a lip balm girl but still want some color, I would highly recommend checking this out!! And this week, since Wet n Wild is all 50% off at Walgreens!!
(The only thing is: with it being so colored, you almost have to use a mirror to apply~)
Now, for the MOOD CHANGING GLOSS.
Whaat?! I know, it's super fun!!
Too Faced Mood Swing lip gloss, $18.50 at Sephora
(Pricey, but it was a gift from my awesome Brudder!!)
Specs as per Sephora.com:
What it is:
A selection of emotionally activated, shade-shifting lip glosses that blossom into a variety of pink shades.
What it does:
These emotionally activated glosses transform into a variety of pink shades depending on your mood! The formula contains a healing cocktail of Shea Butter, Jojoba Seed Oil, and Vitamin E, providing lips with instant hydration upon application.
What else you need to know:
Each gloss has its own long-lasting, yummy flavor.
LET'S SEE!!
(I have "Pink Shimmer" which has a blueberry '"long-lasting yummy" flavor, haha.)
Good size tube:
Easy to use squeeze applicator:
It comes out blue-ish (this shade) but adjusts to your "mood":
Bare lips (sorry it's blurry)
First applying~ still a smidge blue:
After rubbing my lips together:
I LOVE THIS LIPGLOSS!!!!! I live in it, seriously. It adjusts to a great shade, just for YOU and it really has some color!! It also feels a-ma-zing on your lips, and really stay on.. obviously, being a gloss, it doens't stay too awfully long, but it actually leaves behind a bit of a pink stain, which is a plus!
Also-- the color adjust based on 1. The pH of your skin, so it's completely customized to you, ooh la la! and 2. Based on heat-- the more I rubbed my lips together, the pinker it became.
Check it~ at a wedding~ ONLY this gloss! (My mood must have been intense, check out that pink!! Haha!)
Both of these get my approval!!
What do you think? What products do you use on your lips??

Weekend! (Lots of pics)
Hello lovelies!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I want to share some pics from mine~
First off, I gave the red eyeshadow (Wet n Wild) another go before bed one night:
You dig?
Well, then it was time for bed... and I REALLY didn't feel like washing my face, so I pulled out my trusty Neutrogena's Make-up Remover cleansing towelettes! (Review here)
EWW GROSS!!
(But imagine sleeping with that on your FACE... poor pores!)
Clean!!
(Why yes, I DO use a leopard print headband to wash my face ;)
I also switched up my polish from the nude Sally Hansen (mentioned earlier this week) to one of my new Burlesque shades!!
Behold-- Sparkle-Licious!
1 coat (over the nude polish cause I was lazy):
2 coats:
3 coats:
With my sparkly new shoes which they match EXACTLY:
Eeee!!! =D
I also found some supplies to make a peacock headband, did some Christmas paintings, shopped on BLACK FRIDAY, and got a sample of Lancome's Teint Miracle. SO excited to get going on everything!
How was your weekend??
Also, what would you like to see more of? This blog is for YOU!!
Until next time--
